sounder is about so far is a slave famaliy and they hav a dog named sounder and aboy in that famaliy and he gose hunting at night and sounder got his name becouse his voice is buitiful and he has to walk 8 miles to school and then they let him stay home and help with work then one day his dad gose hunting with out soumnder and thats becouse he stole a ham and he is in jail and sounder gets shot by the sherif from es
